Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable has finally come out and apologised over his death threat to co-nominees of the Headies Award.
Portable was disqualified after his recent comments and fellow misconducts in society. Headies Awards released a press statement disqualifying Habeeb.

He was nominated for two categories; Best Street Artist and Rookie of the Year. In a video he released on IG, he apologised saying ”Headies make una no vex”

Last week, he was also embroiled in another controversy after he went online to boast about forming Ajah Boys and One million boys, a notorious cult group terrorizing some parts of Lagos State. He later claimed he was referring to his fans and not the cult group.
The controversial claims forced the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, to order an investigation into the claims.

While the Police investigation is still ongoing, the organizers of the 2022 Headies Awards on Tuesday, July 26, decided to disqualify him as a nominee at the forthcoming 15th Headies Awards.
